what's gather?

Hey!

I'm Chanel. If you're reading this then it means you're interested in Gather the label... So thanks!

A quick run down of gather's history. It started out in 2018 with two gals pals on a tropical  island- Siargao, Philippines. Both with a love for beautiful textures and soft fabrics, With talents in multiple areas, mine being with fabrics & knowing how to hunt down a fab piece and with Britt's skills in marketing & social media platforms we put our brains together annnndd out came Gather!

We did what we could with what we had. Britt modelling with myself styling & photographing and since then on we've been hunting for pre loved and vintage garments across the globe & giving them a second life.

We truly both believed in giving pieces a forever home, while trying to do our part for the planet along the way.

Fast forward to 2020 both of paths changed directions which saw us two pals living super far away with limited contact to each other, which made running a business really hard. 

so...

 I decided to stick with Gather & continue with this little adventure.

and here we are, me typing to you & you now knowing how gather came about.
